I just installed a WP-25 and I am running it for the time being on "else" mode, but it doesn't seem like I can adjust the speed of the flow on that setting. This thing moves a ton of water! I am running it on my 46g bowfront.

Doe any one run these on a similar sized tank and what settings do you use?

I don't use the else mode, not the best for making a wave. Try w1 on level 1 and turn the knob to about 2/3. Else doesn't pulse enough for my taste, just varies speeds a lot. Mine is on a 37g but will soon be in a 90g cube.

I believe the speed adjustment button only works with h1, h2, & w1. I run mine on else mode with my adjustable power supply on its lowest setting of 15v. I have my main pump return nozzle situated at the middle of the tank pointing toward the front to diffuse the strong flow of the w25. This creates zones of turbulent random flow along with calmer spots for lower flow coral. If I want to stir some detritus up, I switch to w1 mode. My guess is that w2 and w3 make for the most natural flow with its slow wave swells.

I have the 25 on my 75g. I habe it on w1 dialed a bit more than half. I also have a hydor 1050 on opposite side to diffuse the 25. To strong all by it self.

i run w1 s1 dial about 11 o'clock on a 40B. I switch it to else every day or so for an hour to suspend the crap for the overflow. I plan to add a wp10 and leave on else or w2,
