Algea problem

I have a 29 gallon biocube with 24 Cree 3w LEDs. I am having trouble with algae My nitrates are around 10 and Phosphates are 0. I have hermits and a bunch of different types of snails and they will not touch it. What kind of algae and how can I get rid of it? Everything in my tank is doing awesome I have had it up for about 2 months and my 3 head hammer is splitting to 6 now and polys and torch are looking great. I just do not want my tank to look like a mess. PLEASE HELP!!!!

fist off you got to know 4 things about algae and their growth.
1. extended or too many hours of lighting
2. weak or old bulbs / wrong spectrum
3. over feeding
4. due to over feeding higher nitrates and phos levels.

those factors increase chances for algae to grow.
in you case pull as much as you can by hand then kill the lights for 3 days.
after 3 days turn lights on making sure your running atleast 14k or up on spectrum and cut down the lights hours to maximum of 6 hrs.
check your feeding and cut down to where fish can consume all food in 3 min. Also keep up with water changes to keep nitrates and phos.
Also i doubt the phos results specially if your using API test kit. you need a precise tool for phos like a hanna phosphorus meter.
