I have a frogspawn that the flesh split how long does it take to separate? And how would I go about cutting them?

cut the bony parts when it really branches out

I use either a dremel or bone cutters

How long does it take for them to truly separate? They have separates mouths and almost separate flesh.

Also they are not fully opening like when I first got them. Does anyone no way this is happening?

not sure how long but it grows like a weed... I have a tank over run by the stuff

Many reasons to change size...salinity, light intensity, flow

In lower light they open huge, higher light much smaller

Ok that explains when I changed the amount of hours my lights were on that they stopped fully opened
