Can I control a computer fan with my BOB? I am planning on putting a small vent hole in the bottom of my stand, and a computer fan toward the top, facing outward to help remove humidity. I am not sure how I would program the fan to run, but this seems like a good idea since my sump will be totally enclosed.

If you get a fan controllable with a 0-10V signal, you can get pretty creative. My fans are PWM, so I simply have the power supply plugged into an outlet that is off for 2 minutes, then on for 1 minute. It also stays on if the temperature gets over 81 degrees.

My fan kept my tank below 82 when my house was around 102, though I was evaporating around 4 gallons per day on a 75.

Fallback OFF
OSC 002:00/001:00/000:00 Then ON
If Temp > 81.0 Then ON

Thanks, now I just have to find those type of fans.
