Yesterday I just bought a Swissguard basslet and seems pretty healthy, but I bought it when it just arrived at the fish store. Need a little help with what I should feed it.

I've tried all the food I have at home, he still doesn't eat. Do you think I should let it adapt to the environment a bit more?

It's hard to get Mysis shirmp in China, especially in winter.
Have you tried Mysis?

First, dont buy a fish that isn't eating. So you did, now you need to condition it yourself. Start with live brine shrimp, then add frozen mysids, then to pellets.
This is a very easy fish to get eating, it probably just needs a couple days to adjust. He should start accepting almost any food shortly.

when I bought mine it was eating at the store
But didn't eat at the house for about 3 days, after that he would every thing
Just let it adjust and you will be fine

I'll be away until next Wednesday, if I don't feed him will it be ok?

Actually I wanted to buy it at another fish store, it had it for a long time and it was never fed. (Just too expensive at that store)

Try some chopped shrimp. Smaller pieces will help.

This can be a great trigger, everything loves eating shrimp; grate it when it is frozen with a cheese grater. But if you are going to be away...?

Bad timing, Man...
If you can't get a babysitter, ask the LFS if they'll help out. If none of that works out, grab an autofeeder and some freeze-dried Mysis, and hope for the best...
I'd prefer frozen, but if you are going to be gone, this may be your only hope...

It's not a big deal, I got my grandpa to help out before I come back.

Even if I don't feed it for a few days I think it's ok, in the other LFS they also have a Swales Swissgurad Basslet and it has be living in their display tank for about 2 month without feeding. (Very Healthy!)
