Hi Roger,
I shipped the tunze 6255 this morning via usps from Roseville CA. It should arrive to you by Saturday. I was not sure what is going on with the pump. It starts when I first plug it in and it stalls within a second. I had already cleared the inside of the impeller housing of any debri and swapped power supply with my other 6255. It still stalled. The impeller itself is in good condition and it moves freely within the housing.

Regards,
Glenn

Hi Roger,

Did you have a chance to look at the 6255 that I sent out? So what was wrong with the pump? I am betting it on the motor. Please let me know.

Thanks,
Glenn

It just arrived today, we will be "closed" the next two days but I expect I will get it done and either way it will be done for Thursday. We need to finish up inventory and some year end bookkeeping.

I got your pump, I ran it yesterday without it stopping, I suspect the issue is that the power connection was on the loose side and not a pump issue but for the sake of argument I replaced the motor, we are a bit behind on repairs and thoroughly testing it could take a few days but it did not stop in 6 hrs of running and the wattage was 52.6 and no stray voltage was present so I don't see any electrical issues.

BTW, a loose power connection is something that is easy to adjust if that should happen in the future to another pump.

Thanks Roger. I did swap the power supply with the other 6255 that I had and had the same stalling result. When I swapped it back the other pump worked as usual. I appreciate the motor swap. I basically just want it to run again. I am already lined up to purchase 2 more of the 6255s in the near future.

Thank you. Experience has taught me to not rule out a pump issue unless I can run it 3 days, usually a fault will show within that time so 6hrs is not conclusive.

Hi Roger,
The 6255 should arrive to you today via USPS. FYI, if you got a new order for a 6255 today from aquarium depot in Citrus Heights ca it is for me. Hopefully I won't have a problem with the 3rd one. Thanks.

Hi Roger,
Is the repaired pump arriving this week? I was not sure if it was shipped back last week. Thanks.

Roger,
More bad news. I am shipping back the first Tunze 6255 that you repaired for me. The one that you replaced the motor. It has completely stalled. Tried a different power supply and no luck. Although I am very grateful with the excellent customer service that tunze offer my confidence in the 6255 product line is completely out. It is not a reliable pump for the money I paid for it. I am not sure how much of this I could take. It will be shipped back to you first thing tomorrow.
