Clown Feeding Question

I just added 2 750-850GPH Hydor Koralia Evolution powerheads to the tank, kind of in a circular motion. I have two clowns. I noticed that if I add food, (mysis or pellets), the food often just blows away from them and they don't see it. I feel like my "feeding accuracy" has gone way down.

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you recommend turning off the powerheads at feeding time? Or is it not a big deal?

Feed the fish, not the tank.
Turn off flow if it's too much for fish to eat, and best is to use a turkey baster or something so you are actually feeding just the fish, otherwise you will just be building up excessive nutrients and waste throughout tank.
In time your fish may become less shy and rush to the baster and you may be able to do w/out turning off flow, depending on your tank circulation.
