Light hanging question

I got a photon48 for Xmas and was wondering how everyone mounts there's??
I have 12 foot ceilings and currently have it suspended from shelf L brackets but don't really like the way it looks.

here's how I did mine. I used 1/2" conduit, black spray paint, and black chain.

Look on the sponsor forum for reef breeders. I made a shell that comes out 16" and took bolts with a circular end and a nut for the other end and hung them that way. I can post a pic later when I get home.

You could put a shelf on the brackets for some nicknacks etc. It would look fine with a shelf above the tank.

Pics of how I hung my photon48. Btw, tank is being upgraded to a 90gal on Friday and my tank has been going strong for a while with two hob filters.

I'de still hang it from the ceiling. Would look nicer with the rimless tank and 1/32 wire is very cheap at hardware store.

I am going to be building a "floating" canopy around it once the new tank is in place
