Ok, so I added a new mandarin to my 90 gallon reef last night. This morning, while I was looking around for him, I spotted something "waving" underneath a rock. I flipped the rock over, exposed it to light for a couple of hours, and these 2 are what I found. Any ideas?? Good, bad, or indifferent?

First that's the exact same picture and I think they are baby plate corals.

Well, crap! I was trying to upload from my ipad, and it won't change pics! Ugh. Baby plate corals? Really? Well, that's much better than what I'd been told earlier (majano anemone). Wonder where they would have come from ??

I would say a majano anemone. A plate coral has a hard skeleton so check for that if it retracts or makes a tube then its an anemone.

I have a few in my DT also. They have been around for about 18 months. IMO they are indifferent to the other inhabitants. They hang out near some hairy mushrooms and some star polyps.

They do move around a bit, but tend to be near the upper levels of the tank closer to the lights.

I would say near 100% the one on the left is a plate coral. I had one that looked near identical, now he's about 2" across. This is an older pic of mine, not anger good one, I apologize.
