Hi all,

I've got an acrylic corner tank which I'm going to be setting up. I'm trying to plan out and purchase equipment now.
Tank measures 24" each 'leg' and is 30" tall. I'd like to grow some LPS down low and maybe some SPS near the top of the tank. I'm trying to figure out the best options for generating water movement. I'm looking at the vortech or Tunze powerheads and can use some advice regarding which model to purchase, and how many to use given the tank dimensions.

I'll probably build a somewhat narrow and tall (think tree-like) rock structure in the center(ish) of the tank.

TIA!

that's my 60g corner. I have lps in the bottom. my total circulation is about 13 times the volume of the tank. I'm running three 400g an hour power heads and spray bar from the pump in my sump. the thing to remember is that water is heavy so try to keep your power heads at the top of the water column and point some down. it seems silly but you will end up pushing more water around in your tank that way. use the curves of the tank to your advantage too. bank your spray off and around walls.
hope that helps!

Hi John. Still in the planning and equipment acquisition stages, but I will be posting pics once I start making progress.
