Did you rinse the carbon first? Im not 100% sure but i think carbon needs to be rinsed first before you place it in your tank.

I assume you didn't rinse the carbon prior to putting it in the tank. No worries. The carbon will settle out/filter out with time. The water par. should be just fine.

This happens to my tank too even after I rinse the carbon. It should be fine as nothing has ever gone wrong for me.

If you can add in a filter sock or some filter media, this will help clear it up.

Yea you need to rinse before use. I use chemipure elite and I had to give it a good rinse before I used it. Try some filter floss to clear it up?

lol lesson learned. Yes, you must rinse carbon before putting it in the tank. Pretty sure most containers say that right on them actually...

Are you the one who asked the question about your skimmer going crazy because of a filter sock?

If so, you need to start rinsing everything you add...

Carbon dust can be very problematic to the heatlh of your fish.

RINSE, Repeat!

like listed above, it's always well advised to give the carbon an extra rinse or 3. Also try not the grind the carbon in the bag with your hands (like squeezing the water out of it) as you are only making more dust as you crush / break the carbon.
