Skimmer foaming problem.

Did something stupid and need help getting it fixed.:headwalls:
I added API stress coat plus to tank (non marine kind) Skimmer foaming like crazy. cant even turn it on without foaming over. been that way for a week. have changed 100% of the water just not all at once. Help please.

Pull out skimmer.. clean with vinegar/water, put it back in..let it overflow and it should eventually stop..

I would run some carbon also.
