I have to kill some mushrooms in my tank

I have a 180 that has some really beautiful SPS but it also has a ton of mushrooms that started years ago with one or two that hitchhiked in on some live rock. I've tried slathering them in kalk paste but that doesn't seem to get rid of all of them and any kalk that touches my corals burns them.

Can someone tell me if injecting them with kalk will kill them? I need suggestions on getting these things under control.

I would just try and cut them as close to the base as you can, and then smother the remainder with some epoxy. I've done this to mushrooms, GSP, zoanthids, clove polyps, etc with great success. GL.
