IMO, you should hang them at least 8" above water level. And start at lowest level so your coral can get used with those LED first.

Keep it WAY down low power wise. I ran one over a 28 bow at about 4" and at 40% was all I ever needed. I replaced a 4x24w Aquatic life fixture with it And started at around 20-25% and gradually worked up

Do you already have the RB value fixture? Will be way more than you Ned for a 10 gallon tank. I'd think about using a par38 bulb.

Im using 72" BML fixture on my 125gal tank. Let me know if you want to see some pics. When i received and test it, only one word come out of my mind WOW !!!! Worth your money but u will need a combo full spectrum and actinic for sure

the value fixture will be fine. i ran my photon24 over my 10 gallon for 3 months while i finished my 20 long build. just start low and every few days bump it up 5% or so. probably wont need more than 40% blues and 20% whites/colors depending on how high you hang it and how blue you want your tank.

Just got home, my LED was off. turn it back on. I use 1- 14k strips on my 125gal, 1 strips can't cover 18"W so i will get another actinic.

Thanks! for the pic

to me that looks like the a great visual color for the tank. In my opinion i wouldnt want it more blue or more white.
now when u say ur gona get another actinic do u mean another 14k? or the real blue one they sell? my tank is only 6 inches wide so i probly don't need more than one strip unless u would advise me to.

also i realy like the aquascap. especialy the right side
