Long time lurker here, finally asking some questions.

I have a 90 gallon 4' tank with the following stock (I will be upgrading the 180 shortly, as all inhabitants are approaching the 1.5 year mark).

1x Regal Tang
1x Yellow Tang
3x Lyretail Anthias
1x Mandarin Dragonet
2x Clowns
Bunch of Blue/Red Legged Hermits
Bunch of Turbo Snails

Everything is going well with the tank other than the fact that my Regal Tang has some frayed fins on the top fin, bottom fin, and rear fin. The fraying isn't a super fine fray like a feather would look but also doesn't look like huge chunks are being taken out of it. I'll get pics ASAP but I'm at work at the moment.

The Regal Tang has been like this for ~9 months and is fat and seems to be happy. No discoloration of the fish or anything like that, just the frayed fins.

My question is do you think this is bacterial, fungal, or is the fish getting attacked while it sleeps? Anything I can do to find out?
