I would like to keep enough mixed sw on hand for a 60-70% water change in case of some sort of accident, and Im wondering how most do this? Ive never stored mixed water for more than a couple days so Im not sure what happens to it over time, how often it should be cycled out etc. I would assume alk would fall off pretty bad which isnt much of an issue, but waht else should I plan for? My system is only about 65g total so Im just thinking a garbage can that's 3/4 full(which is also how much rodi I usually have on hand) would be sufficient.

I use IO salt which essentially can store indefinitely as there are no organics in it. If the salt has organics it you still can store for quite a long time. You want keep it sealed and away from light.

I use B-ionic. So as long as I hove rodi water (which I always do) I can mix and use the water right away if needed

I keep a minimum of 25% saltwater premixed and 25% RO/DI. +1 to the post above, if your saltmix doesn't contain organics it will last forever in a sealed container (no need for water movement or heat).
