I have 2 bangaii cardinals that took about 10 days to decide to eat. I tried on frozen mysis, but it was brine shrimp that seemed to kick start it. You can also try feeding a bit after lights out once their tank mates have gone to sleep.

start with live brine shrimp, almost all fish will eat live brine. Then you can switch over to frozen food. Or, call your lfs and ask what they feed

I have a PJ that started out eating mysis shrimp but now wont touch them. He only eats pellets (New Life Spectrum Marine Fish Formula). He only eats once a day while the others eat whenever food is provided.

PJs are more nocturnal in nature- especially in new wild caughts. They tend to be very hardy, and once established will eat anything. Try different foods and if he is healthy, and not stressed he will eat. Trying a bit at lights out, as noted in a earlier post, is a great idea as well.

you should try some mysis but soak it in some garlic for a little while first. works great to get picky fish to eat and . some say it actually helps fight things like ich.
