Looks like you're close to getting that big display up and running mate. Is it going to me a mixed coral reef with a bit of everything or something else. Are you keeping the smaller tanks running as well or going to put everything into the big display.

Nice setup! Lots of options with a tank that size! Can't wait to see more of the build

I'm putting all into big tank and using 29 gal as a frag growing tank for small frags for the big tank ( I can't stand the look of small frags on visible frag bases in my DT)...and getting rid of 55 gal FOWLR ...going to be a mixed reef

Sounds like a good plan with those other tanks. I didn't realise you had all those coral frags ready to go, looks like a nice collection ready to go once the cycle is over.
Are you cycling the normal old fashioned way or doing some modern wizardy potion cycle.....

Old fashioned...I am trying to not dose the tank unless it's kalk, alk or mag ...gets hard to troubleshoot with too many variables...my 29 gal runs like a champ with little to none additives...the 55 FOWLR has really just been a dry rock seeding tank for the past 6-7 months...the established pieces of live rock I'm using to seed with gets toothbrushed daily and it is spreading coraline like crazy...doing a 6-7 inch deep sand bed for extra filtration in the 225 gal (sand bed will get sifted in controlled amounts- a 6" to 8" area every 2-3 weeks)

I have been tattooing for 15 years and do local trades (not from the ocean but from aquarists lol)for coral frags and colonies so fortunately getting anything from tame to exotic corals is relatively cheap for me lol

Stand needs a beefing up so doing some wood work tues or wed and putting tank back on stand this weekend...hopefully I'll get some water and rocks in it this weekend ...the rock scape is going to be a pain in the butt seeing as the tank is 30" tall and top of tank is almost 5' 6" from the floor....ugg
