Hey everyone so I am upgrading my current 90 gallon reef to a 180rr. I am in the thought process of the build but I will be ordering the tank in three weeks but I would like to have my stand built first. I don't know what I should go with for a return pump I'm still deciding if I want the sump in the basement or not. What would you guys recommend also if people don't mind could I see some pictures of there stands and set up so I can get some ideas this will be my final upgrade so I would like it to come out how I want it lol. My lighting will be the maxspect razor I currently have a 27 inch razor over my 90 so I will be ordering one more I think that would be enough but feel free to throw in ideas or comments any input is appreciated.

There is a DIY stand thread in the diy section on here and I would go with a DC pump and put the sump in a dedicated room in the basement.

so I may have a change of plans there is a guy selling a 225 gallon tank with a glass holes 1500 kit on it plus the stand so I may not need a stand. I will be picking it up this sunday. what pump do you think would be a good one that is dc to run from my basement im thinking about getting one of them 100 gallon bins from tractor supply for the sump and possibly turning it into a frag tank also. the basement would be best for the sump since this is where I mix and make my rodi water.

I will be using two mp40s for flow plus return pump and two maxspect razor 27 inch fixtures the 160 watt 16k versions. I will be going bare bottom for now thinking about using white cutting boards to protect bottom pane from scratches or rocks falling. this will be a mixed reef with everything transferred from my current 90 gallon mixed reef.

The seller never got them to me so I looked it up it's made by all glass aquariums I believe the measurement is 72" long 25" wide and 25" tall. I hope this goes smooth since the last time I went to buy a tank it cracked while loading the guys friend went to lift the tank when we weren't ready and the glass caught the edge of my truck bed.

so I finally made it home last night close to 10 and everything made the trip safe. it was a relief when we set the tank in place in my house. but needless to say it went smooth besides the seller almost busting his teeth out lol luckily he was ok though. we were able to slide the tank and stand in the bed with a little bit of thinking outside the box. I will be ordering the rest of the equipment soon. im wondering if you guys think two maxspect razors will cover the tank they are the 27 inch 16ks I already have one so I was gonna order another one. here is a pic of the tank its still dirty from the seller tearing the tank down.
