I have a bc29 laying around and I need to add a sump because I need the room for equipment. I plan on cutting the false back out of the tank and drilling an overflow and return. For the overflow i plan to build and overflow box and drill a hole about 6 inches up from the bottom. Does anyone see any problems with doing this? My other option would be to forget the box and drill the hole 3 inches from the top and use black pvc pipe for the overflow. I'm unsure of what size bulkhead to use. Can anyone give me some help? Thanks!

I just drilled my bc14, i did not remove the false wall drilled my overflow in chamber 2 and my return to chamber 3. I did not drill my return low enough so I was un able to get the return pump attached to the nozzle, but it ok since I kept my mj1200 in the rear chamber to pump the water into the tank. If going the route I did make sure your drain is higher thank your return pump in the third chamber.
