I recently purchased a used bio cube 29 four $80 off of craigslist. The tank was nice no scratches no problems all intact. So I was searching online for updates I went to in tank and ordered the new bio baskets. This is to replace the bio balls I have about 30 pounds of live rock and 2 clowns.
I used to live sand. I also ordered to stinker lights to use in conjunction with the PCs for more lighting. And also ordered a Refractor made by two little fishy's and running the protein skimmer as well. As of right now if the tank is doing very well however it is still in the process of cycling. I will post pictures as I get everything in and as I make the changes and modifications to the bio cube. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/21/du6ydase.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/21/turyje5a.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/21/yquhy2u4.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/21/vy4ybene.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/21/qezu9ude.jpg

Okay so my led stunner strips showed up yesterday. I installed them toward the back of the tank under the clear plastic light protector. They add quite a bit of light. Tomorrow the rest of my (in tank) stuff should show up along with my two little fishy phosban I will post pictures as I set it all up

How long has it been set up? Is it cycling with those clowns in it?

It sounds like you said your tank is still cycling and you have fish in there? You need to get those fish out and into a QT. Those fish are being tortured with the ammonia in the tank for cycling.

The levels in the tank are perfect the tank has been cycled. I am just doing a few upgrades and changes which will not affect the tank much at all so no I am not torturing the fish the fish are 100% happy they eat just fine they swim around they play happily and the powerhead current and now that I have changed out the filter system the tank is even betterhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/26/by4a6yse.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/26/zy2aqena.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/26/zaqeva3y.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/26/u7yvyze3.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/26/abe9u6a8.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/26/2uzatusu.jpg

So. I wake up this morning about 430 to my kitchen laundry room dining room in about a half inch of water flooding the kitchen, laundry, Dining room. Luck for me this is what I do for a living is dry out homes. My rodi failed to shut off after it had filled the holding barrel

That's impressive that you are able to do that with a Biocube. I got a Biocube to "get my feet wet", but to me it is limited in what it can accomplish (or I'm just that incapable).

That's what drove me to get my current setup-in-the-making. I'm just not happy with the options to add sumps/refugium/really good skimmers. You are certainly making it work!

Will for a bio cube I definitely have a lot of money invested in it but I think it's starting to turn out pretty nice. However you nailed it right on the head you're definitely limited on what you can do with it soon as I move and get out of this apartment I will be set me up about it 200 to 250
