I'm new to this website but I need help please. I have a report due and im trying to find a concrete reason, something I can put into words as to "why docile fish are docile". Everyone (pet stores) I ask, tell me; "its just the way they are". I'm guessing one obvious reason is that they don't really have any defensive traits or teeth to fend themselves off with. If anyone could help I would appreciate is very much.

Thank you in advance one very cold Canadian. Tyler.

p.s why is this even on here haha >> :deadhorse1:

:deadhorse1: You never heard the expression Beating a dead horse. Basically it means You keep going over the same thing over and over...

As for your other question IMHO I think if you look at the grand scheme of things there are predators and prey, docile being the prey, and aggressive being the predators. Just the way things are...

You may want to post this in the fish forums, you may get more responses. Good luck.
