I purchased 2 juvenile Percula Clownfish about a month ago. One was / is clearly larger than the other but both are small.
The larger one is relentless at chasing and sometimes attacking the smaller one. From what I read this might be normal until they pair but I am concerned because the smaller fish's coloration is starting to dull (as if his health is suffering). When I feed them I try to feed in a way that both can get food although the larger one always tries to compete and take all the food.
Thoughts? How long does the pairing process usually take? When should I be concerned?
Thanks.
