Does anybody know how to get rid of this green algae? It's a 100g reef tank that is only 3 months old.

A good clean-up crew, reduce your nitrates and phosphates.

That look like the normal part of a tank that is fairly young. You should start seeing some coralline growth soon.

As Sugar said, newly setup tanks go through a series of algae blooms, which are sometimes not aesthetically appealing, but normal nonetheless. Shortening the light cycle, and adding algae eating inverts/fish can help.

How big of a clean up crew should I have for the 100g tank?

about 30 hermits, a hundred worms, about 30-50 snails depending on size. You could also include a small urchin, shortspine variety and a couple of fighting conches, and about 5 nassarius snails. But understand--WHITE is not a good color for a tank: white is death. There will always be green, pink, and brown, very little white. And the load I've cited above is for a tank that has fish and is being fed regularly about 3 cubes of frozen a day.

I think it's just a prelude to the purple coralline so many of us have in our tanks. I wouldn't sweat it.
