Hello!

So today I bought a candy cane coral with about 5 heads on it for 25 dollars. Looked very healthy and seemed like a good buy so I'm happy.

Anyways, I was under the impression that they were happy with just photosynthetic feeding and maybe something like phytoplankton dosed once or twice a week. But tonight I look in and instead of seeing nice inflated heads I see skeleton and tons of sweepers lining them! It was a neat surprise but I've come to understand they can actually be fed.

Any input? I'd greatly appreciate it

Yes, Ive heard of people feeding them. I have one very plumped CC but I have yet to see any sweepers from it.

It was puffy at first when the lights were on but it was time for lights out about 20 min after it went in. I went over to the tank after a couple hours and the puffs were wide open and down low and sweepers perked up. I noticed though after having living room lights on for about 15 min doing a few things that it started closing up again a little bit. But its neat.

Do you feed yours? And I wonder if each head would need fed
