Hey guys I picked up a 300 gallon
96. X 24 x 30. There are a few questions I have on this setup

So there are a total of 8 holes 1inch in the back and 3 holes in the bottom 2 are 1 1/2 and 1 is 3/4

You can see the 8 in the back here

And in between the two large fitting there's the one small hole

There is a over Felix box that goes over the 3 holes in the bottom

So what I'm thinking is use the top 4 holes in the back as returns 1inch PVC the whole way

And use a jeabo 12000 return pump

The main question is how should I do my returns

Do your returns like in the pic, to do your drains, Run a modified herbie from the center overflow, one siphon line 6" under the water line, another slightly below the teeth in the overflow (durso style) then a third emergency pipe that is slightly above the teeth line (should remain dry unless something is wrong).

Another option, add a coast to coast drain and use three of the top holes for a traditional bean animal drain (more work but better surface skimming) Cap the bottom holes or add a closed loop, and use the remaining holes for the return lines.
