I am starting the build of my new 250 dd I am down sizing from a 500 gal oceanic. I sold it to buy this tank cause I saw a dd tank set up and fell in love with the look and design of the tank..
So here we go... all thoughts and comments welcome positive or negative cause I am trying to make this the best tank I can for myself and it's inhabitants..
Thanks for following..

I have the tank in place and put sand in it and added my rock work.. I am wanting a open design so I don't lose the front to back depth and I don't want any dead spots for debris ...
Anyone have any ideals to add?

Is that SCWD threaded in the ports? looks like a hose will just slide off even if clamped tightly on the outside of it.

Yes it is the one inch thread in ports... I liked it better than using hose clamps.. I heard they work pretty good.. we shall see
