So I'm changing the bulbs out on my fixture. The combo currently is way to white and I'm looking for something that will allow me to get growth for softies zoos and mushrooms. The current combo is the 3 g12 10k halides and 4 420 t5's. I want to replace all 4 t5 bulbs and all 3 hid bulbs. I was thinking

Blue +
Blue +
Coral plus +
Coral plus +

(3) 14k hid bulbs.

Thoughts?

Stay with the 420nm for the blue and 14K for the halides like you are thinking.
It should look awesome.

G12 base is also hard to find replacements. Has anyone had any experience with coralvue?

I am on the same boat... Not too many choices with the G12 bulb... I just ordered some more 14K Coralife from ebay which are ok but I supplement them with ATI blue plus T5s and I have a nice blue tint to my set up... growth is pretty good as well. I just wish there were more choices aside from Coralife bulbs.
