Hi I just purchased two hydor koralia powerheads. They are the nano ones which are 425 gph. I have a 20 gallon long reef tank which I plan on having it mixed with soft, lps and some of the easier sps corals. I this too much flow or just about right? Also does anyone have any reading on the placement these powerheads should be?

It sounds fine and will really depend on how much rock work you have and how you position them!

Placement of the powerheads all depend on where the corals are placed and where the dead spots in the tank will be. You will have to play around with them a little until you see the corals reaction and the where the dead spots are.

I was thinking about buying one of the 425 nanos for my 20L I have the older nano PH from them. Not sure what flow rate it is.

Placement of the power head and where you place ur coral depending on your aquascape is also important. So it really depends.
