I am at a loss here. I have an ARRIS TG862 Wireless Cable Modem, an APPLE Time Capsule wired into it to extend the network and I have an APPLE Airport Extreme I wanted to set up as a Bridge Router for my APEX.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the Airport Extreme to act as a Bridge Router.

The Time Capsule is set up as follows:
(Wireless)
Wireless: Create a wireless network
Allow this network to be extended is checked
Radio Mode: Automatic
Radio Channel Selection: Automatic
(Internet)
Connect Using: Ethernet
Connection Sharing: Off (Bridge Mode)
TCP/IP - Configure IPv4: Using DHCP

The Airport Extreme is set up as follows:
(Wireless)
Wireless: Join a wireless network
(Internet)
Internet Connection - Connect Using: Wireless Network
Connection Sharing: Off (Bridge Mode)
TCP/IP - Configure IPv4: Using DHCP

Currently both the Time Capsule and the Airport Extreme display a steady Green Light. If I wire the APEX to the Airport Extreme I cannot access the APEX. If I wire the APEX directly to the Time Capsule with a very long Ethernet cable I can access the APEX both local and through my dyndns account.

What do I need to do in order to make this set up work? PLEASE, one of the Networking Gurus - HELP!!!!!

Aj, I hope this helps you. Here is how I ended up:

On my Wireless Cable Modem/Router I turned off the Wireless, turned off Security and put the IP Address of my APEX in the DMZ. Then hardwired via Ethernet from the Cable Modem to the Time Capsule and created a wireless network from the Time Capsule where I set up Network Security. I then set up the Airport Extreme to Extend a Wireless Network and hardwired my APEX to it via Ethernet.

On the Time Capsule here is how it is set up:
