mixing live rock and dead rock

whats best when making your rock wall in the tank, putting the dead rock first and the live on top or the other way around. The sand I used was live but passed away for being out of the water for too long.

So should I mix the rocks so the sand can seed or should I put the dead rock onthe bottom and the live rock on the top or vice versa?

It really isn't that important, go with what looks the best, I liked the LR on top, it will seed either way.

Eventually if things go right, it will all be live rock. Be patient and have fun!
