I was having cyano prob and my phosphates where at .25 nitrates At 20ppm doing a water change now to 0 out nitrates so I used a phospate remover to lower phosphates accidentally removed all phosphates to 0 witch I read it's good to have little above 0 so now I have little to no algal growth I also did the lights out method for cyano and it worked but before when I got algea on glass I would see few pods on my glass guess grazing on algea but now when I got barely any algea and the algeas tips got white I'm guessing lack of phosphate I see no pods... Could I have possibly starved my pods?? Or how can I be sure I at least have a small population
