I have been playing around with the short pulse wave function in my 75g. I have a MP40 on each side of the tank. I cant seem to get a good wave. My settings are .8 seconds. I have tried sync and anti sync.

I was wondering what other people settings are to produce a wave in a 75g.

Thabizness,

I would recommend placing the pumps in an area where they can provide unobstructed flow. From there, use anti-sync mode and experiment with speed and pulse until you dial in the exact wave you'd like.

Make one pump SYNC.

Set the master to Nutrient mode and watch the tank.

Nutrient mode will cycle through the spacing and you will see a wave get created.

Granted you can not see what the spacing is, but you will see that it is possible.

In my 180 I have a wave at .54 and at .56 that disappears quickly... If I could hit .55 it would stay but it only likes even numbers. I can not remember the exact # right now as I am not in front of it. But you get my point.

I have created a small wave with .7 at 55%. The other one is anti sync at 35%.

When doing this it is best to have the % set to the same. That way it will support each other when in different modes.

Otherwise it may work against it in the wrong way.

I tried that when doing both same percent the wave would not generate. Ill try it again tonight tho.

Set it the the same % and let it set for like a minute or two.

Then adjust it .01 each time and find the sweet spot.
