Just looking for some advice. I am about to move house and have an 120l tank. I currently have quite high nitrates and am wondering if i can replace the majority of the water with fresh clean salt water from the lfs. It is a Fowlr tank and am wondering if i can just re acclimate the fish in the new cleaner water. I am however wondering if i replace all the water will i have to cycle my tank once it arrives at my new house. Please can i have some suggestions as im moving next week.
Thanks

As long as you match the salinity and temperature closely and acclimate the fish to the new water you should be fine. If you weren't planning to I would also replace all the sand with new dry (washed) sand.

I can easily match the salinity and temperature to. Why would i need to replace all the sand? Also will the tank need to cycle due to me taking all the water out?
What will happen to all the beneficial bacteria?

Most of the beneficial bacteria is in the live rock. Very little in the water
