Enjoyed the goby article.

You mentioned their destructive habits concerning rockwork. Since jawfish are the same way, I put all rock on pieces of 1/2"- 3/4" PVC, usually three to a rock, to maintain stability. Plus I did not want the pricey live rock burried four or five inches deep.

The jaws dug big holes all over the place with no problem before finally settling down.

Just wanted to share.
Thanks for a well done article.

I did read and enjoy your article on jaws. It helped me provide a suitable home for them. Thanks.

I have two tiger jaws. They maintain two holes about 7" apart. They often share the hole on the left side for a few minutes at a time. Then one of the jaws ( not always the same one ) wiil go in the other hole. I never see them share the hole on the right and the holes do not seem connected. These guys are a joy to watch!
