I know I change things like women change clothes but I'm stoked. I'm upgrading and trading my ATI for MH!

Thanks to Jeff I'll be installing 250 watt Radium over my system I'm my new canopy being custom built. Yeah. So the new setup

MH/ LED on HQI ballasts can wait to see the results in a few months

Sometimes to much change isn't good. Hopefully this will work for you

When the MH was running over it before it was a beautiful sight. A very nice system.

I have like 8 radium bulbs out here Shawn if you want one. A couple of them only have like 1 month on them..

Most people change from halides, to something else, and then back to Halides.

Good luck with getting the results you're looking for.

Shawn,
I run the AI Hydra 52s from 10am until 7pm then the 400 watt radiums turn on from 7pm onward. All I can tell you is that while the LEDs are beautiful, I am still looking forward to see the halides turn on at night. There is just nothing like it. The look of LEDs are "sterile" at some times. The halides are still my preferred lighting.

Shawn,
I had thoughts a few months ago when I added the kessils with the halides and T5'S but things happen for a reason in my opinion and now their gone and back to old faithful's and the corals look great!

Regards
Tom

I ran MH for over 10 years, Been running LED's for the past year. And Im getting incredible growth. I think it boils down to water quality and husbandry. I remember getting into reefing 17 years ago, I saw some very nice reef aquariums under fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent lighting.

Good luck Shawn, MH looks great, you wont be disappointed switching back.

I'll take the Radiums. I'll text you.

As for the change it was not taken lightly. I've been mulling it over for months. MH are the most tried and true lighting I know of.
