I have at least 4 RBTA's at the top of my rockwork. They are under 250 20k bulbs. I have monties at a lower level. The original RBTA went there and stayed. The rest are splits.

Same here I can't even keep some sps at the top of my rock structure but my RBTA looks like it can't get enough.

This depends entirely on the SPECIFIC anemone or coral colony. Not only are different species of so called "SPS" corals found in different and even mutually exclusive environments in the wild but many are very adaptable while others are not ( http://coral.aims.gov.au/info/factsheets.jsp ). Corals in the wild have also been shown to "learn from experience" and are consequently affected differently by environmental conditions ( http://www.mendeley.com/catalog/experience-shapes-susceptibility-reef-coral-bleaching ). Moving a BTA that was happy in 40-50 PAR to where it's getting 400 -500 PAR would almost certainly kill it if it was not allowed to crawl off and find light levels it was acclimated to. Moving a Birdsnest or Green Slimmer that was growing under 400-500 PAR to 40 - 50 PAR would almost certainly kill it.
