OK so I feel like it is time for me to introduce a new companion for my Powder Brown Tang and Sixline Wrasse. I am looking for some suggestions that will be another great fish that will easily cohabitate with these and looking for some suggestions. I currently have many mushrooms that I am starting to frag off the mother rock colony plus a small zoanthid colony and likely a maxima clam to come.

Foxface, maybe a couple of really cool wrasses. Maybe some Anthias. Is your powder brown mean?

No he is not particularly mean. He is a voracious eater.

How long has your Sixline been in the tank? If it is well established, you may have trouble with new additions, especially smaller planktivores like wrasses.

He has been in the tank since the beginning so he is well established.

I will say the same thing about the powder brown, he will more then likely not allow another tang to come in peacefully

+1... 6lines are, too often, horrible little fish...and hard to catch/remove!

yeah I have been thinking about replacing him with maybe a pair of flashers. With my rock work it will not be easy.

WHAT!... What's that saying about 'prior planning...'
 duh!

Just kidding, I had to remove a lot of LR to catch mine, years ago!

lol I didn't think mine would be a problem maybe it was my noobie self thinking that the sixline issues wouldn't affect me. :debi:

you may be better off setting up a fish trap and catching him that way. lure him in there with some food. I almost got one in my newbie days as well, and chose the melanurus as well, so glad I did!
