Thanks, want to connect the main bulkheads of the tank and pipe it down into the small sump I'm making,just wanted to know if people have done this and if it works or not. I'm abit clueless lol

The non mettalic ones yes, but there are much cheaper options that work just as well. If you are looking for a drain some flex pvc or flex tubing works great.
