For fish that require a 'tight fitting lid', does that mean that you need to have a lid that's screwed down somehow? Will just a regular screen lid work?

If you need extra security for your top, how do you go about adding to your screen top, to make it extra secure?

I'm looking at a fish like the Longnose Hawkfish.

tight fitting lid for hawkfish would mean all the tank top covered. in case they jump. and if they do, it wont have enough force to remove the lid. you could put something over it to make it heavier.

for Octopus or eels would be a different story, as they can push the lid open ...

Agreed. Eels are another one that may need a weighted lid.
