I have a clown and huma huma . I really want to get a long spine black urchin but I think it might be a meal. I know its hit or miss with each situation. What about a for urchin or flower urchin? Any thoughts on these guys with the triggers? I don't want the flower urchin killing the triggers either

its going to be a meal....they were made to eat those...once they get big enough of course...

So what happens if the trigger trys the flower urchin? Won't the venom kill the fish?

Triggers will flip the urchin....then it is dinner time! Of course, (not to be a pain) but the triggers will have problems eventually.

I wouldn't risk it. I've personlly seen a Picasso trigger pick up an urchin by the spine, flip it over and go to town. They can also spit streams of water under it to flip it. Either way, the urchin would lose.

It's probably not going to work out. The urchin is one of the main prey items for the trigger, and the trigger is one of the few animals that can successfully prey on them. It's literally a food source for the trigger...

trigs bodys are designed to eat urchins...that's why their eyes are set so far up on their bodies..

I hate that its true and they will eat him. I had a pink tail with an urchin for a while before. I know a pinktail is not a huma or clown lol
