There's a couple other guys here with these tanks maybe PM them and find out what lights they're using.

IMO The best bang for your buck would definitely be the current orbit marine led that just came out around october-november last year http://www.amazon.com/Current-USA-Marine-Aquarium-24-Inch/dp/B00GFTK7CQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1392449074&sr=8-4&keywords=current+usa+orbit+marine+led
comes with built in timer so you won't have to buy a separate controller. It also has a bunch of cool features like dawn to dusk, thunderstorm mode and cloud mode, which you don't really need but is cool for showing off your tank when your friends come over lol
its good for softies and lps but might not be too good for sps
I personally got the maxspect razor nano led fixture on my fluval spec v, but i really think its more like than this little tank needs lol

That looks awesome, does that powerhead create too much flow? I was tjinking of putting one in mine but i thought it would be a little too strong

The stock return pump doesn't get enough flow. I looked at other people's fluval spec v build and i woudl say 80% of them replaced it with the mini jet 606 which is so much better than the stock pump.

As for the powerhead, the hydor koralia 240gph is perfect

Its not too much flow because your corals need it to get rid of the waste inside their system especially sps. With the powerhead + the minijet 606, it keeps detritus from settling on your sandbed and keeps the water crystal clear looking
