New Skimmer day!!

Bought a Seaside aquatics ES5. Should be here today. Was supposed to be here last week but the snow put a stop to that. I will document it and take pics and video. Seems like there is not that much info up on it although its a top rated Skimmer with a Sicce pump.

What size tank is it going on? I think that is the old numbering for that skimmer pretty much a Bubble Magnus with a much better pump. I was looking to get one also for my future 40 breeder build.

I have a 60 cube and a 24 gallon sump/refugium.

I was running a Cadlight 1150 before and it did a pretty good job, but i like to switch it up every now and again and see how much things differ.

I saw one running on a tank at my LFS. Very quiet with very dark skim. I was impressed.

Well the skimmer is up and running for 3 days. I already have half a cup. I might have skimmed a little to wet the first day but its dialed in and seems to be rolling like a champ. I think the Sicce pump really makes a difference. So far, very impressed.
