Help Me ID This Substrate Dwelling Thing [PIC]

It's like an ant farm in my tank...

I can see the thing that lives in there...it looks like it has many legs. But it's really tough to tell; I can only see one two dimensions... but that is it's burrow. What would make a tunnel like that?

A healthy sand bed is home to countless worms, and they make 'burrows' like the one in your photo. My sand bed is full of them. Sign of a healthy tank!
