Really? I thought they needed around 75 degrees.


I heard they're venomous like lionfish as well.

This fish gets way too big for my setup.. but I'm still interested in learning about it more.

I saw that on DD and thought it looked awesome too but way too big for my tank and not reef safe. definitely peaked my interest though I would like to see if anyone has one.

I see millions of them diving here in Albany western Australia. The biggest one IV seen is about 30cm long, they are mainly a schooling fish with the big ones sometimes in pairs. They are not very active and they are happy for you to get close to them. They feed mainly on small inverts. The water temps here are around 24-16c. Very pretty fish indeed :-)

Ya there are so many little reef fish around here that I would love to put in my tank;-)
