My MP10 just arrived and I was wondering what settings you guys are using for your MP10?

It will be on my 29g Biocube. Thanks!

reef crest set at 50 percent works in my 30 breeder, but you maynot want to go that high in a biocube depending on corals.

I had one in a 15g mixed reef on reef crest at about 60%, loved it..

now I have two in a 40b, one on reef crest at about 80%, the other on quick pulse making a constant small wave..

reef crest is pretty much the best mode unless you're trying to make waves.

Seems reef crest is the most popular setting. I will give that a try and tinker with the intensity.

I have two in my 30g. I run them on reef crest around 60%.

I have 2 mp10wes in my 27 cube. One pump is on the side of the tank and the other is on the back glass furthest away from the other pump. Both are on the tidal swell mode at around 50%

I have it on Reef Crest but how can you tell what % it's on?

The amount of leds lit on the controller from left to right indicate the power level. Where the light stops is the max power point of that wave/flow.

Ahh okay. I think where it's at now is good.

I will see how my corals look tomorrow when the white LED's come on.

Thanks for the help everyone! I used to hate on this pump for being so expensive and told myself I would never buy it... boy was I wrong! This pump is absolutely amazing.

If only it had a built in LED screen to make it easier to program but maybe someday it will.

Oh Yeah, It wasnt that long ago when I told myself I probably wouldnt get anything like that. Then shortly after that I decided to get an mp10 and loved it, and a few months later I got a second one, and then a radion after that. Didnt really plan on spending that much but you cant argue with quality.

If you have a radion you can control the pumps through Ecosmart Live along with the light. One of the main reasons I'm going with the gen 3 pro on my new build is because I have 3 vortechs I'm using and I don't want to upgrade to an apex.

Ikr, at the price point I think it should have a text based GUI with buttons of some sort. Don't get me wrong though I put the MP series pumps above most all others ;)
Nice tank btw, it looks great!

My Banggai Cardinal was not liking the reef crest lol.

Most of my corals are softies and LPS so I decided to change it to Lagoon Random Mode 50%.

Not sure if this is normal or not but my pump is kind of loud. Not really loud but you can definitely hear it when you start to turn the speed up. Is that normal?

Just got a mp10 last week, it's dead silent. Running reef crest @ 50%. I had it up higher to feel it out and it was still silent.

make sure the wet side and dry side are lined up right, a tiny rotation of the wet side clockwise or counter clockwise makes a difference

One of two things in regards to noise. I've had two and both irritated me even when adjusted perfectly. Loud to me is anything approaching a computer fan if it an oscillating sound. I can hear a maxi jet usually from another room but the constant white noise doesn't bother me.
Working around more than afew systems they are all audible, all of them. They loudness seems to vary though....out of a dozen or so I've never heard one that is silent.

I just got one in my 24G JBJ ..I keep mostly softies and I placed my MP10 low in the tank to help detritus not build up behind rocks ..I have mine now in Lagoon mode and a low setting .. I want to play with it a bit
