Beautiful, regal angels stole the show. I've got to dive Maldives!
Last place I dove was Caymans and HI before that--nice fish but corals are not great.

That is a cool video showing the diversity of species living among the islands and atolls of the Maldives. Wish they would of shown more footage of the MI and the orange tailed Emperors you caught a glimps of when the sea turtle first shows up. Cool find surfing youtube. I think credit is due to Peter on the YouTube channel

Now Maldives is on my list for scuba diving! Thanks for sharing, they used a great camera for the filming as well.

I know, the footage was really clear.

Here are two more I found stunning. Second video has great coloration. Both in the Maldives as well. I knew about the Maldives because I'm a surfer and always wanted to visit there. Beautiful place.

Very nice! I've been diving in Florida, Cozumel, and Cabo, but I don't remember seeing as many corals as shown in these. Maybe I got the bug after diving, but I'd like to go see it in person now. They have quite the array of corals there, just gorgeous.

why do the corals all just look white and grey?

put a 10k light above your tank and you'll see why

ill try it with my radions.... i wasnt saying it as its ugly or anything.. but if you look in our tanks the colors are just very vivid. and then you look in the ocean and it looks nothing like it.

I think that our blues and reds and stuff are just a higher percentage then what the sun puts out, or at least is visible. The colors definitely looked washed when i set my leds to white and a little bit of blue but look better when i boost the blues and other spectrums.

i read somewhere that if you use a red filter on your camera you will see the colors better.... but i cant remember if it was true or not. and I know nothing about photography
