Pest or not?

Saw this little guy trolling the bottom of the tank in the sand. Guessing it was a hitch hiker on the cured rock I bought.

Kind of a white'ish small snail.

looks like it could be a nassarius. does it have a trunk like an elephant that feels around? Does it bury itself? I'd get it in quarantine until you can find out what it is. Little critters like that tend to disappear and you don't want it to become a problem if it is a pest.

My guess is not.

Bought a grab bag of 5 snails at the frag swap. Remembering that a nassarius snail was one of the 5 listed on the bag.
