Hey guys brand new to the saltwater hobby and just want your opinions on my set up and also give some info on prices I paid for my start up for other prospective enthusiast, let me know if there's something I should be doing differently..

20g long tank from petco, 20$
10lbs sand, 10lbs aragonite 20$
20lbs dry rock. 20$
Current T5HO 4 bulb 29" 40$ (Craigslist)
Aquaclear 30gallon filter. 36$
Two rio+ power heads 50,180 35$
Aqueoun 50watt heater. 25$

Also I bought 4 5 gallon buckets from Walmart to use for water, 15$
Using instant ocean salt. 10$
Thermometer. 10$
Hydrometer. 15$
Test kits. 30$

I have my light at 8" above the water level, water tempature is at 78 degrees, salinity is 1.022, in need of some opinions for my light schedule... Once the tank is fully cycled I would like to do mostly corals, opinions on good beginner corals?

Thanks for reading guys!

I would replace the hydrometer for a refractometer instead. They area available in a variety of places including amazon, bulk reef supply, and most LFS.
It may seem like an unnecessary cost for a beginner, however when I measured my salinity with a refractometer for the first time I was expecting 1.025 (as that is what I had been keeping it at with my hydrometer), instead I saw 1.020. $10 extra dollars is a small price to pay for accuracy.

I would also bump your salinity closer to 1.025-1.026(NSW).

Definitely bump your salinity up, but first get that refractometer, hydrometers are OK out of the box but after a few uses they usually go off. In a 20g I'd keep the salinity at 1.024, as this will give you a little head room if you happen to miss a day of top off water.
