I have had my tank up and running for about 7 months now. Not sure if I am doing things a 100% right. If any one has any suggestions I am very grateful for any advice.

Suggestions on what? You have given no information.

My main worries at the moment is the depth of my sand, the placement of my rocks and power head as I get algae build up on the rocks but only some areas.
In the tank I have 2 clowns, 2 zebra fish, a bi-color, fox face, a small snowflake eel, bubble tip anenome and 2 shrimp.

looks like you need some better lighting. whats your current light setup?

Looks like you only have one powerhead. Perhaps another on the opposing side will take care of those diatoms on the sandbed. Can you give us your setup equipement list? How many gallons?

+1 on more info (tank size, lights, filtration, parameters ect). I agree about another powerhead. But the more info you can give the better answers you can get. But you made the right choice by coming here and asking questions. A lot of great people here willing to answer your questons!

It is a 60-65. Gallon tank including sump, I have a maspect razor led lighting, with a afm PSK-S1 skimmer, and I have activated carbon and phosphate remover in the sump as well.
My only concern with a second power head is that I was worried that two in small tank would give too much current. The parameters I don't have to hand at the moment. I had them tested at a lfs at the weekend as I was wanting to check they where similar to what I was getting an they said everything was ok, other than the no3 slightly high. But I have Ben struggling to get this down.

You need more flow. I have a 65 with a 2 inch sand bed with roughly roughly 2500 gph moving through it including the return. Koralia 850 plus a koralia 1150. I was still having a couple of dead spots until I added the 1150 and took out a 240 and 425. Just don't aim the powerheads directly at the sand. You may not need quite as much flow as I do because my tank is heavy on live rock and corals. The moralist mumps move a lot of water in a broader pattern than say a maxi jet or one that has a return nozzle than a cage. Google them and you can see what I mean.

Definitely should have a bit more flow. Are you sure the phosphates are in check?

Do you use ro/di water?

What is "slightly high"? 15ppm? 50ppm? 80ppm?? What is "everything was ok" in numbers? What may be "ok" for your LFS doesn't mean it's actually ok for the rest of us.

Looks like diatom on the sand and rock. I have 2 powerheads on my 65g and the return pump is also kicking out and additional 1200gph.
The aquascape looks nice, at least from the front.

You will need to give specifics for others to offer any advice, feedback, or assistance.

My parameters are
Temp 26, ph 8.2, alk 8.9, ammonia 0.2, no2 0, no3 12, po4 0.
I had no idea my nitrates where so high. I am in the process of doing one water change now followed by another tomorrow to get it down.

I do make my own ro water and this is testing with 0 nitrates.
On the subject of power heads I would be wanting a unit that would run two power heads, does anyone have any good brands to recommend as well as the koralia that crooked reef mentioned.

TDS is what you need to measure for RODI water. It tells you there are no dissolved solids. Nitrates are just one of a bunch of potential problem chemicals. Copper, phosphates etc...
Ammonia and nitrites are a problem in a cycled tank. You need to address them.
I highly suggest keeping a tank log book. Write down all test results, even when done at the LFS so you can track changes in your tank.
Given your description of 60-65 gallons of water, you have way to many fish for for that small of a tank. What is the actual size of the tank only?
